PREDMET: Direktni letovi UK-BiH

 

Zelimo da Vas obavjestimo da je Peticija koju je nedavno pokrenu BiH UK NETWORK I SSDBiH dala pozitivne rezultate.

Juce smo dobili obavjest od Britanske ambasade u Sarajevu da ce British Airways uspostaviti direktne letove London-Sarajevo (3 leta sedmicno) od marta 2007 godine.

Zahvaljujemo se svima koji su ucestvovali u sprovodjenju Peticije  a BiH UK Network i SSDBiH ce I dalje insistirati na uspostavljanju i jeftinih letova iz Lutona za Sarajevo (Wizz Air, Ryan Air i sl.)

U prilogu Vam dostavljamo kopiju poruke od Britanske ambasade I obavjest od British Airways-a.

Having discussed the issue of direct flights from London to Sarajevo at our meeting in Sarajevo on 8 November, I am writing to inform you that BA announced introduction of direct flights to Sarajevo from March 2007.  For more information please refer to the press release that BA issued on 20 November.

BRITISH AIRWAYS PRESS RELEASE

UK Trade & Investment is the Government organisation that supports both companies in the UK trading internationally and overseas enterprises seeking to locate in the UK.

 

British Airways is to start new routes from London Gatwick to Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago, Dresden in Germany and Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina from March 2007.

There will be daily flights to Dresden and three flights each week to Sarajevo, both of which will be operated by Boeing 737s.

Robert Boyle, British Airways' commercial director, said: "With the new route to Port of Spain, we will serve 10 destinations in the Caribbean including Tobago. Port of Spain is primarily a business destination due to its oil and gas industry but there is a thriving leisure market as well.  We also welcome Caribbean Airlines as our latest codeshare partner.
